Bittersweet

The Tibetan Buddhist tradition has a meditation practice called tong-len that asks us to breathe in the suffering of the world, to hold it in that unbreakable place of compassion and to then breathe back light.  In a world full of love and beauty,

it can, I believe, taste bittersweet at times.

This is my vision for my near future. This path has a beginning but the future of this path will be a step by step process.

Who has your back?

A walk with a dear friend in the woods.

To be a good friend and to appreciate the friendship requires honestly and concentration. “A friend is one who knows you and loves you just the same”.

 

What colors?  What does it take to get you to stop and pause.  A rainbow does it for me every time. My imagination displays itself in colors. I just want to follow the rainbow to the end. Pot of gold...maybe but precious moments, absolutely. This moment is what we have now.

I can't resist opening up my mind and my heart when I am on top of a mountain. It seems easier to honor what is true, to find the courage to be authentic and seek the truth.  To be open to joy!
